Daughter of musician / singer / songwriter Jimmy Geres and the younger sister of award-winning singer Claudia Geres, producer / mixing & mastering engineer Bernie Joel Geres and producer / singer / songwriter Lester Geres.
Carrie's vocal prowess has landed her several musical collaborations with names like Hevance, Ezra and Mezzavoce, just to name a few, singing a few lines in hit singles such as Aku Nemu, Asung Ku, Janji Senang and a few others.
Prior to these collaborations, Carrie had also released a hit single in English titled Confusion, a chart success on Hitz.FM which she created together with producer and friend Galvin Patrick.
In February of 2015, Carrie decided that it was time for her to make her presence in the music industry felt more vividly. She felt that it was also high time for someone to answer the call to elevate the standards of the local music industry even higher up, by means of (among other methods) making songs with a fresh new feel never before heard in the long history of Bidayuh music.
And to kick things off, she released on February 2015 her very first solo single Tenggie Ku in the Bidayuh language (Biperoh dialect). Tenggie Ku single can be found internationally on iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer, Google Play, Rdio, XBox Music, Rhapsody, eMusic, Simfy, TargetMusic and a number of other stores and music providers.
What does the future hold for Carrie Geres? Only time will tell. But as of now, things are looking pretty good.
