The band was established since 1970's previously known as The Back Bone Band; consist of Mr.Hatta(bassist), Mr.Sanjan@Rong(drummer) and Mr.Tan Y.T(guitarist). In 1980's,the band came out with new line up called "The Hard Riot"..Mr.Hatta & Mr.Rod as a bassist,Mr.Rong as a drummer,Mr.Collin on lead and Mr.Clayton on vocal.
The band breakup on early 90's (1996), and they form the band again named it as The Oldiest Plus. Not long after that, they change their band name to The Hard Roit2.
Couples of years later, they decided to change the band name to D'Hatta Band; the reason of the changes band name due to The Hard Riot2 means too 'HARD' for a dinner occasions,where some might thought they only plays rock music, so they decided to name their band to "D'Hatta Band" as a branding band name until today.
