Here's is a special announcement on the latest updates on  AMD (Anugerah Muzik Dayak) 2014 as refer from the official AMD 2014 Facebook pages (here!). The Organising Committee of AMD 2014 had decided to make amendments to the following matters to ensure smooth and prestej organization;

1. The previous event said to be held at Stadium Perpaduan shall be change to Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).

2. Proponents from the comittee research results, AMD 2014 Nominations require more investments to choose the best nomination for each category. The first nomination shall be open to the nomination by a reputable recording company, artist, singer, composer, lyricist, music arrangment and all to those involved directly in song or album.

Second, as a measure of the improvement in this year's AMD 2014 edition;  nominations may be made by the fans via social media such as facebook: AMD 2014, newspaper clippings (the Sarawak Tribune & Utusan Sarawak) and a phone call to a radio station official (RTM: Waifm) or writing directly to the DAMA office.

Thus, the Organising Committee has agreed to repeal the participation fee of RM50.00 and any nomination which has made the payment will be refunded (please contact the secretariat). Organising Committee reserves the right to determine the list of five (5) nominees of each category will be announced after the nomination process ends on October 31, 2014.

3. For Lifetime Achievement category nominations (Iban, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu), Recording Company, Individual or fans can make nominations of providing 'resume' which contains history on music scene, achievements and awards received, and contribute directly to the Dayak Music Industry.

4. DAMA need volunteers (Volunteer) as crew among fans, college / universities / colleges on the event of AMD 2014. Those interested can register with the secretariat via facebook AMD 2014 for consideration. This is to give exposure and experience managing similar programs.
