Jesper Nimoi (Bidayuh lad) Crowned as the champion of DAMA StarQuest 2013 and walked away with RM3,000 last saturday night and a trophy plus a certificate with song "Pulai".So he's the 1st ever debut crowned on the talent search by Dayak Artistes and Musicians Association (DAMA); congrats to him.
Not that all he also won the Best Performance award that came with a prize tag of RM500 and also will recorded an album/albums under any recording company registered with DAMA label.
Second place also won by Morris Thomas (Bidayuh lad) belted out with song "Lebu" composed by Ramona Joshua where he won a cash prize of RM2,000, a trophy and certificate.
Third place won by our dayung Bidayuh lass Isbel Valarie Coron took home RM1, 000, a trophy and certificate where she belted out with song "Pengingat Lama".
Cats Most Popular StarQuest Finalist award won by Alexander anak Chelum wit a prize RM500. And the others finalists ere given a certificate and a cash prize of RM300 each.
Panel of professional jury for DAMA StarQuest 2013 are Ajai, Stephen Adam and Senah Ukong.
So congrats to our first DAMA StarQuest 2013 "Jesper Nimoi" and to forget to the others StarQuest Finalist. Who will be the next coming champion of StarQuest Dama? the answer is not know but coming new season of StarQuest talent search.
